About
Allyce is a Chicago based actor, teaching artist, and arts administrator. She has had the opportunity to work with theatres such as Halcyon Theatre, Stage Left, Cor, Lookingglass, Cabinet of Curiosity, Something Marvelous, Teatro Vista, American Blues, Jackalope, 16th Street Theatre, and Chicago Children’s Theatre. She is the proud Company Manager of Something Marvelous.
Allyce is a trained puppeteer and physical theater actor with experience in hand, marionette, bunraku, shadow, and TV styles of puppetry. She was trained with Jenny Stoessner & Claudia Leonesio. Allie has a background in Laban, Viewpoints, Sanskrit Dance, Mask Work, and Comedia Del Arte. She also has a background in Ballet Folklorico, Tap, Lyrical and Jazz Dance.
Allie is bi-racial native San Diegan who loves coffee, pan dulce, yoga, and all things Shirley Temple. She spends her spare time cooking vegan food and missing the ocean.
